Mmm Yummy: 4-3-2-1 Spice Rub

4321 spice rub

I get stuck in ruts when it comes to cooking.

After awhile, with the same seasonings, it all starts to taste the same.

I was watching a morning news show (I can’t remember which one) and they had a chef on that quickly gave this 4-2-3-1 spice rub tip.

It was so easy and sounded so delicious, I tried it that very evening on some chicken.

So with 4 ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry, you can transform your chicken into something seriously yummy.

The Lineup:

4 tsp Salt

3 tsp Paprika

2 tsp Brown Sugar

1 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Mix all the ingredients together and rub onto your chicken. The longer it sits and marinates in the rub, the tastier it will be.

The great thing about this, is that it can be adjusted according to your tastes. My little ones can’t handle too much spice, so I reduced the cayenne.
